Originally from Montreal, Canada, I received my Bachelor's degree from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, and went on to earn my Master's degree in Social Work from the National Catholic School of Social Service in Washington, DC. In Washington, I worked as a clinical social worker at the National Children's Center's School Program providing therapy and assisting clients with special needs and their families. After taking some time off to raise children, I started offering parenting workshops throughout the DC area. I then opened my private practice in northwest DC.
In addition to my private practice, I also offer parenting workshops. I am licensed as an independent clinical social worker in the District of Columbia (LICSW).
I am a member of the board of the Greater Washington Society of Clinical Social Workers (GWSCSW) and also serve as co-editor of the society’s quarterly newsletter. I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
