Short-term Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy

People come to therapy when they are ready for change. Your therapy time is for you to express yourself in whatever way you feel comfortable. I take an active and supportive role in the conversations we have together.

As we work together we will:

  • Ask questions that help you see things in a new way.
  • Explore patterns in your important relationships.
  • Come up with strategies to strengthen your sense of self.
  • Problem-solve emotionally charged situations in your life.

Developing awareness in these areas can result in improved relationships, less anxiety, and increased feelings of satisfaction.

Clients come to see me for help with some of the following issues:

Stress, depression, feelings of dissatisfaction, anxiety, decisions regarding relationships or jobs, worry about the future, conflict with family, illness, anger, grief, loneliness, and communication problems.

Taking that first step to contact me is a very important step towards change and growth.
